How To Stay Productive During Lockdown
Our plans for this year and last year haven’t been working well at all. Instead of going out and have the greatest time of our lives, we are being advised to stay home most of the time and only go outside for important business for the sake of our lives. In the beginning, everyone was ecstatic at the fact that we got a 2 weeks vacation where we can stay home and not do anything.
But over time, we are tired physically and mentally due to staying home for more than 2 weeks. We all miss our regular and normal activities such as going to classes, eating outside with our friends, go on a walk around the neighborhood every evening, etc. We’ve all hit slumps and not being productive of our days while staying at home. Well, here are some tips that we can follow to be more productive even when we are staying home. Instead of sitting down in front of our PC and play mega888 all day long, do this instead to be more proactive of our days.
Have A Schedule
Creating a schedule of how your day will flow, can help you to be more productive. List down what are the important task that you need to accomplish by the end of the day such as, attend your online classes/meetings, prepare dinner for your family, do a workout session. Whatever you put down on your schedule list, make sure you follow and do everything on your schedule.
Healthy Self-Care Habits
The most important thing to keep on track during this pandemic is your health and well-being. Bot mental and physical is important for you to keep them in a good condition. Have healthy habits like eat good and nutritious food for your body, drink plenty of water, sweat yourself, and if you can make sure that you expose yourself to the sunlight by going to your backyard or front yard for a while. And, make sure that your sleeping schedule is normal, just because you are staying at home doesn’t mean you can have an unhealthy sleeping schedule.
Keep The Same Routine
Just because you are staying home most of the day, doesn’t mean you can’t have the same routine like you always did. These routines that we constantly do before the pandemic is what make us feel like our life is completely normal and not being able to do the routine like we used to do can take a toll on our mental health. So, if you can keep doing the same routine like you used to do, don’t stop them. You can still dress up and do light makeup even if you are staying home.
House Member Meeting
Maybe you are staying with your family or your housemate. Whatever it is having a house member meeting every morning can help you to stay organize and productive. You can have this meeting while having breakfast where you ask them about their schedule of the day. Not only this can help you to stay connected with your house members but you can also learn and know how to respect their boundaries when they need to. For example, if they’re having an important business call it’s important for you to not be a distraction and keep quiet.
