What Can We Do About Climate Change?

According to NASA, climate change can be indicated through the rain frequency change and as well as other bizarre temperature changes that usually are not like that. The world is dying because of us. Recently, NASA has announced to worldwide citizens that the Earth will probably and expectantly go on only until 2100 due to many terrible reasons. One of the factors is plastic that contributes to climate change. Earth is becoming more of “Planet Plastic”. Do you know how much plastics have contributed badly to climate change? It takes 450 years for only a bottle to decompose into the ground. A research conducted at the University of Hawaii led by Sarah-Jeanne Royne has demonstrated that greenhouse gasses are spread powerfully as plastics break down.

Over time, more gasses are created in the air with plastic. Light is the primary catalyst to this gaseous release. An alarming loop arises as climate changes, the atmosphere gets hotter that results in plastics giving off more gas called methane and that is the reason for climate change as the cycle continues (A New Link between Plastic and Climate Change, n.d.,). We can clearly see how much the climate has been modified ever since previous years. The global temperature is rising, the Antarctic ice is melting and increases the sea water level, also the decreasing snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere are the general effects of what we have done to our poor Earth (Nasa, 2018). All the pollution we make and excessive energy we use daily have brought climate change as the consequences of our careless act. We need to try our best and hardest to not leave a carbon footprint when we are gone. We need to do better for our environment so that we can all enjoy doing things such as game slot online without any worries. 

There are many ways to improve our living and start chipping away at the importance of taking care of our planet frequently on a daily basis. The easiest step we can take is by recycling. This becomes an issue because such an easy act is not being consecutively executed by the large of our people. It is sad because people have not been taught to reuse plastic stuff since a kid. This kind of knowledge is brought down to the younger generation. When parents who are supposed to teach do not know about it, the child would be even more clueless. Recycling habit should be a daily activity so that we will not face the consequence of landfills overloading of waste that could’ve been recycled. Therefore, instilling recycling habits among students is really crucial to educate them from scratch and so that they will continue spreading this beautiful act to others.
